Brighter days in store for Bollywood

Astrologer Bejan Daruwalla predicts the future for the country, Bollywood stars, the state and more in 2010...

Good new folks... The world’s not ending in 2012. Astrologer Bejan Daruwalla confidently tells us that good times are ahead, not just this year, but in the coming years too.

For the country as a whole, 2010 is going to be an excellent year, he predicts. “There will be less corruption and less poverty. Science and technology will grow by leaps and bounds. We will excel in sports. Terrorism will reduce. Housing and transport will get cheaper. Prices of essential commodities will go down. Better educational facilities will come up and politicians who do not meet the required standards will be taken to task,” he announces.

On the entertainment front too, the future seems bright. “Freida Pinto of Slumdog Millionaire fame will make waves internationally, Katrina Kaif will rule the roost in Bollywood and Kareena Kapoor along with beau Saif Ali Khan will still find the going good. It’s an excellent year career wise for Saif and the three Khans — Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman — will continue their reign. Amitabh Bachchan might have to deal with a health problem and Preity Zinta will bounce back,” reveals Bejan.
On the T-tangle he says “a separate Telangana is in the offing, but it will take another year for it to happen”. “It’s all due to the malefic position of Saturn with Mars. Mars is known to cause violent protests and Saturn causes separations. Things will be sorted out. Sonia Gandhi will play a major role in setting things right,” he explains.

Closing on a positive note for the state he adds, “Things will look up from 2012 and will continue till 2015 due to the fine position of Jupiter and the region will prosper financially and make great strides industrially.” Coming to leaders, he reveals, “K Chandrasekhar has a bright future, he is a good person... and Chief Minister Rosaiah has seven more years in politics. Even Chiranjeevi’s political career is good.” Referring to Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who he says has a good horoscope, he cautions the Congress leadership that “it is advisable to keep him in good humour”.
