This past Friday evening the biggest stars in Bollywood got all glammed up and headed to the Chitrakot Grounds in Mumbai for the Aspara Awards. This year marks the 5th Aspara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards. The event was full of reunions with friends, over the top performances, and some well deserved recognition.
Shahrukh Khan was presented the award for best actor for his work in "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi," while Priyanka Chopra won Best Actress for her role in "Kaminey." Also on the list of winners were Pritam for his music in "Love Aaj Kal" and Shreya Ghoshal for her vocals on the song "Tujh Mein Rab Diktha Hai" from "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi." Amitabh Bachchan was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award and his proud family was there to cheer him on.
On the list of performers for the evening were Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, and Shahrukh Khan.
