If Aamir Khan can put on a guise and travel through India for two weeks to promote his movie 3 Idiots, why can’t Shahid Kapoor live in a car for two days?
Well that’s the question that has obviously popped up in the creative heads chalking out the promotional strategy of Ken Ghosh’s film Chance Pe Dance in which Shahid plays a character who lives in a car during his struggling days as a dancer.
According to a source, the marketing whizzes at UTV Motion Pictures - the presenters of ‘Chance Pe Dance’ - are doing brainstorming sessions to come up with a unique way of promoting the film. The old ways of promoting films through billboards, theatrical promos and even star appearances at multiplexes are increasingly losing the edge over innovative ways.
We learn that UTV is seriously considering the idea of making Shahid live inside a car for two days. The actor will only step out to answer nature’s calls. However, discussions yet need to be done with Shahid to give a final go-ahead to this plan.
‘Chance Pe Dance’ is a musical starring Shahid as a dance lover. Genelia D’Souza is paired with him in the flick.
