A besotted female fan of Akshay Kumar went to unimaginable length just to meet the superstar. The girl (name withheld) hails from a rather conservative family in Lucknow and is such an ardent fan of Akshay that she would repeatedly run away from home to meet Akki.
However, despite repeated attempts, she wasn’t able to meet the actor because of the constantly present security guards around him. Undeterred, she took a drastic step and landed straight at Akshay’s home in Juhu and asked to see the star. When refused again by security guards, she slit her wrist there and then.
The shocked guards immediately informed Akshay about the incident. Luckily the star was at home at that time and did not waste time in rushing the girl to a hospital in Juhu. After the girl’s wrist was stitched and bandaged, Akki talked with her and tried to put some sense into her head. He reportedly told her to focus on her life and take care of her parents. He called up the girl’s parents and later invited them (along with the girl) to his home for tea and snacks.
The besotted fan is now learnt to have moved on in life and is pursuing higher studies abroad.
