"Rocket Singh" doesn't need much promotion

Banking on Ranbir Kapoor’s recent success at the Box Office, Yash Raj Films have decided to slash their budget for the upcoming Rocket Singh - Salesman Of The Year. Yes, agar Ranbir hai to kya gam hai.

Seeing the success of Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, YRF people are confident that Ranby’s upcoming film Rocket Singh doesn’t require much publicity.

As a source was quoted by a tabloid, “YRF had kept aside a sum close to Rs 5 crore for the film's publicity. But when Ajab came out earlier this month and was liked, the think-tanks at the production house decided to tone down the publicity budget to a mere Rs 2 crore and are confident enough that the film will do well purely on its own merits and Ranbir’s presence.” However, one YRF official has declined such news and said every film has its “promotional strategy”.

Well looking at the Rocket Singh promo trailer, this may just be another Rocket for Ranbir.

The film directed by Shimit Amin is gearing for 18th December release and ‘Salesman of the year’ comes with guaranteed entertainment.
